After purchasing a ticket through PayPal, you will be added to the list of ticketed attendees. All proceeds go to Richmond Randolph #19 and are intended to cover costs. In the event excess money is collected, it will be donated to Masons' Hall Historic Preservation efforts.

Death: Your Final Initiation is an experiential contemplative session that explores the inevitability of our own mortality as illustrated by accounts of near-death experiences (NDEs) from actual Masonic brethren and others. This session draws parallels between initiatory rites of passage, the initiatic experience of Freemasonry, and the initiatic experience of death with hopes of alleviating the fear of death and reinforcing that Freemasonry itself actively prepares its members for death’s initiation into the beyond.

In 2017 the Grand Lodge of North Carolina created a year long study course on the esoteric aspects of the ritualistic work. The program resulted from the Grand Lodge Committee on Masonic Education and has the Grand Lodge's full endorsement and oversight. As Freemasonry's national membership continues its decline, it is undergoing a period of fundamental change. The Middle Chamber Program is an attempt to guide Brothers back to the foundational lessons and universal Truths that permeate our ritual.
This presentation will examine the need for such a program, its creation and development, a brief overview of the content, the Grand Lodge's role, and the outcomes realized.

About the Event
Freemasonry is a tradition that runs for hundreds of years, born in Enlightenment Era values. Masonic lodges exist in part to take good men and help them grow and become better. At this conference we'll cover a range of educational topics to be announced, providing a sampling of what Freemasonry has to offer and how it connects to modern man's experience in 2025.
Freemasons from all recognized jurisdictions, prospects, and interested members of the general public are welcomed to participate.
We are looking into organizing an evening festive board as well, if you would be interested in attending, please reach out and let us know.

With the cornerstone laid in 1785, Historic Masons' Hall is the oldest building in the United States erected for Masonic purposes and continuously used for that purpose. Masons’ Hall defines the Social, Cultural and Historical impact of Freemasonry on Richmond, our Commonwealth, and our Nation. It is a Virginia Historic Landmark and on the the National Register of Historic Places.
